Spiritual Ceremony
You are able to choose any ceremony you like or make your own vows along with guidance from your minister. Our bilingual non-denominational minister, Lidia Godisak, is available for your ceremony and can help you in preparing the vows and ceremony.
You will receive a Marriage Certificate authenticated by your minister as a beautiful keepsake.
This ceremony is not by legally binding in Mexico or the U.S. Instead, the ceremony represents a contract of personal commitment between the couple to be married. For couples that want to have a romantic wedding in Mexico we recommend they have the spiritual ceremony here in Puerto Vallarta and the legal wedding at home as this will save you time and expenses.
No paperwork or blood tests are required for a spiritual ceremony.
Note: The couple needs to comply with the laws of their home state and country if they want their marriage to be considered legal for tax purposes and to be eligible for certain benefits and protections under the laws and regulations of their state and country. This usually involves applying for the wedding license and taking blood tests, but requirements vary from country to country and state to state.
