Driving Instructions

From Airport to Playa del Sol Grand 
This drive is approximately 20 minutes.

  • As you leave the airport parking lot, look for the sign COMPOSTELA (green sign).
  • Turn right and take the left lane, this will take you under the highway.
  • Take the U-turn and follow the four lane highway 200 to the North.
  • Follow the signs that say COMPOSTELA – TEPIC. Keep driving North.
  • You will cross over a bridge leaving the state of JALISCO and entering into the state of NAYARIT.
  • You will go under two different overhead bridges – one at JARRETADERAS and another at NUEVO VALLARTA.
  • In NUEVO VALLARTA, you will also go through a traffic light.
  • You will then come to a small town, MEZCALES, where you’ll go under another overpass and through a traffic light.
  • After passing the traffic light, get into your right lane.
  • On your left, you will see a large golf ball sculpture promoting the Flamingos golf course. You will then exit at the sign SALIDA – FLAMINGOS (green sign).
  • After exiting for Flamingos, you will come to a security gate (just say Playa del Sol Grand), after about one mile you will come to a crossroads - turn right.
  • PLAYA DEL SOL GRAND is the first hotel on your left
